As the word “Onsite” suggests, wherever you are, we come to you, with our equipment, to provide interpreting or translation services. Before COVID, this was the dominant form of service request. After COVID, this has become one of our modes of service, when you really need to meet in person to get the job done.
We will always recommend remote interpreting such as video interpreting or phone interpreting first, as it is greener, faster and cheaper. We do recognise that there are occasions that the job can’t be done properly without the presence of the interpreter in person.
Some examples of such situations:
- Client is hard on hearing;
- Cleint refuses to talk to a person on a device due mental capacity or mental health issues;
- Confidentiality, such as police interview, or telephone intercept translation;
- Site visits with delegations, such as our service for the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project, where visual elements are just as important if not more.
